A group of individuals who created a Denver-based non-profit to help kids experience the joy, challenge and benefits of youth sports. We work to provide financial and volunteer support of school athletic programs to make this possible.
We believe….
That kids deserve a chance to be on level playing fields. That sports have the power to change kids lives. And that the opportunity to become involved in sports teaches lifelong lessons and opens doors to a world of possibilities.
Jefferson High School
Last year, Sports for a Cause supported Jefferson Jr. and Sr. High School, located in Edgewater, in the Jefferson County School District.
Thanks to some generous donations we were able to provide brand new equipment to the Tennis, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, and Volleyball teams as well as some fun gear for PE class. Additionally, Sports for a Cause invited some of our mascot friends to make their Spring school pep-rally one to remember.
Kennedy and South High Schools
One of our favorite memories was donating equipment to both Kennedy and South High Schools. From soccer balls to football helmets and lacrosse uniforms, our donations reached Freshmen to Senior athletes.
North High School
Helped pay off football equipment invoices including bills for helmets.
Purchased new volleyball uniforms, volleyballs and knee pads for every player.
Purchased new boys basketball uniforms and a basketball for every player.
Purchased a girls soccer ball and duffle bag for each player.
